Woodson Daniel was born 30 Dec 1800 in
North Carolina, possibly Person County, and died 5 Aug
1847 in Perry County, TN. He is buried in the Northern Cemetery
on Crooked Creek, Perry County, TN. He purchased land 15 Jan
1830, in Dickson Co., TN, from James Smith and appeared in the
Federal census in 1830 in Dickson Co. He is possibly connected to
William and Rice Daniel of Christian County, KY and James R.
Daniel of Grayson County, TX, and may have had a brother John, of
Perry County, TN. Woodson Daniel was married to Mary (Polly)
